"Birthday cakes, celebratory champagne, Spring Festival Poon Choi, Easter turkeys, movie theater popcorn for dates, and Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes, the original intention of cooking or making them is to share them with everyone. These are exclusive foods for special moments. There is always a special charm as if these flavors would awaken those experiences of intimacy and joy in me."

Mooncakes have become the only remaining ritual of the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The form, function, and semantics of mooncakes have become a design direction we deliberately challenge. We designed a new type of mooncake with the concept of "sharing": the 3D printed mold allows the mooncake to be stretched into a "MOOOOOOON" ring shape. Cut the letters into portions that are not too big, and share each portion among friends in the most appropriate proportion. The mooncake box and the mooncake are in the shape of a unified ring. The mooncake is named "Share the Moon".
